Our downtown and Green Wood sanctuaries are available to university music students and studio teachers for recitals. Please contact Tina Alee at least three weeks in advance to schedule your recital rental.
At our downtown location a 42-rank Reuter organ or Yamaha grand piano are available. At our Green Wood location a Kimball grand piano is available.
Downtown Sanctuary Rentals (seats 650)
The Sanctuary is available for recitals any day other than Thursday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays. A sound technician can be made available if you would like to use the sound system in the sanctuary. The sound technician fee is $75 for up to 3 hours ($30/hour after 3 hours).
- Student (high school or university) solo or chamber recital – $450
- Includes 3.5 hours for setup, recital, interaction with guests and tear-down. An additional 1.5 hour block may be used for rehearsal for an additional $75.
- Community teacher studio recital – $310
- Includes 3.5 hours for setup, recital, interaction with guests and tear-down.
- Public concert or other performance – $600
- Includes 5 hours for setup, rehearsal, event, interaction with guests and tear-down.
Green Wood Sanctuary Rentals (seats 85)
Green Wood is available for recitals any day other than Thursday evenings, some Fridays and Saturdays.
- Student (high school or university) solo or chamber recital – $425
- Includes 5 hours for setup, rehearsal, recital, reception and tear-down.
- Community teacher studio recital – $285
- Includes 3.5 hours for setup, rehearsal, recital, reception and tear-down.
- Public concert or other performance – $550
- Includes 5 hours for setup, rehearsal, event, reception and tear-down.
Additional Recital & Concert Rental Information
- All fees mentioned include custodial services.
- Fees are due 10 business days prior to the event. Payments made via credit card are subject to an additional 3% processing fee.
- A mobile hotspot may be needed if you need internet access.
- Facilities are available for evening recitals until 9 p.m.
- Facilities are not air-conditioned.
