For the month of October, FUMC will participate in this nationwide movement launched by Resurrection, a United Methodist Church in the Kansas City area, to encourage people to be intentional about treating one another with kindness, overcoming the polarization in our country through civility and respect. Our sermon series will reaffirm our commitment that no matter what happens between now and November 5 (or after), we will follow Jesus and treat others as we want them to treat us – including those with whom we disagree. No matter what – kindness. No matter what – humility. No matter what – respect. No matter what – love.

This week we wrap up our "Do Unto Others" sermon series with the topic of love. What does it mean to love in a divided world? How do we focus on love no matter what happens on November 5?
