This weekend we join together with the global community to celebrate World Communion. As we do so, it seems easy to point out all the things about Christianity that either don't help or actively harm people these days, so why stay? Haven't we ruined this whole thing enough? Brian McLaren says no, Pastor Jenaba says perhaps not, but far more importantly, Jesus says, I am not done yet. Unrolling the scroll to teach about the need to care for the poor and the outcast wasn't what anyone expected of Jesus; that habit of doing the unexpected is something that can't be stopped by us.
