We are called to celebrate Christ as leader — King of kings and Lord of lords — but have spent so much time, energy, and violence to ensure that our own kingdoms and ownerships remain. Power is an attractive force, but a dangerous one; how do we recognize the moments in our own lives where we are trying to lead and forgetting to follow God? How do we learn that relinquishing control to the Holy One is safe?
