As we enter the season of Lent, we bring with us our winter fatigue and longing for the sun, our weariness from politics and conflict, our need to care for our hearts and spirits. So, this year, our Lenten theme will be “Soul-Tending”, an exploration of how to care for our souls. Each sermon will address one way in which we can name what is weighing us down and renew ourselves for the great new beginning that is Easter!

This week in worship we remember and celebrate Palm Sunday! The children will parade through the sanctuary waving their palms as the rest of us sing the opening hymn. Our sermon topic is courage. How do we find the courage to take a step toward what we fear the most?
