Jesus' teachings were always rooted in the concept of grace. The way he received others honored the image of God in each person. That model of living was the example set for Jesus' disciples. Our scripture text for today examines Jesus' instructions to 12 disciples sent out to bear the image of God and to recognize and honor that image in each person they encounter.
