Our first sermon series of 2025 is Holy Troublemakers and Uncommon Saints. Each week we will focus on one person of faith who has worked for more love, justice, and joy in their communities or even the world! Some will be familiar to you but others may not. As part of this series, during African American History Month, we will learn about four African or African American Holy Troublemakers and Unconventional Saints.

This week, we look beyond our country to learn about a Holy Troublemaker and Unconventional Saint who took a small idea and made a major impact in Africa, Wangari Maathai. Join us as we celebrate her passionate work for the environment, human rights, and democracy!
