Our first sermon series of 2025 is Holy Troublemakers and Uncommon Saints. Each week we will focus on one person of faith who has worked for more love, justice, and joy in their communities or even the world! Some will be familiar to you but others may not. As part of this series, during African American History Month, we will learn about four African or African American Holy Troublemakers and Unconventional Saints.

Scripture challenges us to dream in new ways, to understand that habits are lovely but are rarely meant to be eternal.  Our next unconventional saint, Leslie Foster, invites people through his films to see the world differently; how can we step into the imagination God gives us to try new things, look at things in new ways, and stretch creatively into community with each other?
