Weekly Programs
Sunday Morning
10-11 a.m.
We offer a space for youth to explore faith and doubt about God, the Bible, Jesus, and current topics. Meets on Sunday mornings, not on the 1st Sunday of the month.
All students gather in Calkins for refreshments at 10 a.m. We will offer a brief worship time including music and prayer, then split into middle school and high school classes.
Middle school students will follow the Explorers curriculum using re:Form resources by SparkHouse with occasional supplemental material. We will also take time to visit other congregations in our area throughout the year.
High School students will meet together to learn and grow in their faith with one another. Curriculum and discussions will be focused on the interests of the group as we practice asking good questions and thinking about our faith in community.
Based on direction from the church’s Covid Task Force:
- When community levels of Covid are high, we will require masks, except when eating.
- When community levels of Covid are medium, masks are encouraged but optional.
Sunday Evening Youth Group
6-8 p.m.
On Sunday evenings we enjoy a game or two, a brief message and small groups, where youth experience belonging, identity, and purpose through relationships with their peers and caring adults.
Food will be served 6-6:30 p.m. We will serve and eat outdoors as much as is practical.
Based on direction from the church’s Covid Task Force:
- When community levels of Covid are high, we will require masks if we need to meet indoors, except when eating. Youth may choose to arrive at 6:30 p.m. if they prefer.
- When community levels of Covid are medium, masks are encouraged but optional.
