As we enter the season of Lent, we bring with us our winter fatigue and longing for the sun, our weariness from politics and conflict, our need to care for our hearts and spirits. So, this year, our Lenten theme will be “Soul-Tending”, an exploration of how to care for our souls. Each sermon will address one way in which we can name what is weighing us down and renew ourselves for the great new beginning that is Easter!

This week, we kick off our Lenten theme of “Soul-Tending” with an affirmation of our identities as beloved children of God even as we celebrate Black History Month with a special offering of soul-stirring music from our Chancel Choir and the choir of First Congregational Church.
