As we pause in-person worship for the month, this serves as a pilot for a Green Wood community pre-recorded worship service. Led by Rev. Shonagh Taruza, the messages shared at our Green Wood services will be different from those offered downtown, yet will follow the same theme. Our January sermon series is called “Care of the Soul.” We will explore how we can open ourselves up to God and care for our souls in the midst of struggles and troubling times. We will address subjects such as how our faith guides us in practicing self-compassion and self-care; dealing with regrets and forgiveness; how to develop healthy boundaries and find peace.
